Brakes & Steering
Brake pads, discs, callipers, wheel bearings, and steering components — the most common MOT failure areas, handled quickly.
Repair Arrangements
Farcet Garage doesn't carry out repairs in-house — but we can arrange them for you. We work with a network of well-qualified independent technicians who deliver fast, reliable work at fair prices. Get your vehicle fixed and retested without the hassle of finding someone yourself.
The Process
Our DVSA-approved testers carry out your MOT and provide a clear, itemised list of any failures or advisories — no jargon, no guesswork.
We connect you with one of our trusted independent technicians. All are fully qualified and vetted — we only work with people we'd send our own vehicles to.
Repairs are carried out promptly. Once complete, we can retest your vehicle straight away — no need to rebook or return on another day.
Understanding Your Result
After every MOT, you'll receive a VT20 certificate (pass) or VT30 refusal notice (fail), along with a full list of any items recorded. Here's what each category actually means for you.
Partial retest: If your vehicle is repaired and returned to us within 10 working days of the original test, we only retest the items that failed — not the full MOT. This saves time and reduces the retest fee.
